On the test I will update the SJCAM SJ5000x Elite camera firmware from version 1.4.8 to 1.4.9.
I will describe the update procedure:
1) We look at the end of the camera settings installed version of the firmware.
2) See if there is a newer version on the official site and download if there is

3) On the camera’s memory card formatted in FAT32 format, copy the previously downloaded *.bin firmware file. I copied without removing the memory card, but simply through the USB cable from the computer, after copying, clicking “safe removal” and then disconnecting the cable.
4) The final step will be to connect the camera to the charger, after which the update will automatically start, it lasted for about a minute, the lights blinked quickly, the camera turned on and the normal icon of the charging battery appeared on the screen as usual.
That’s all, the settings after the firmware update were reset to standard.
