Smart Array P410 firmware update

For the test, I will update the Smart Array P410 firmware on the HP ProLiant DL180 G6 server.

First of all, download the new firmware version from the official site support.hpe.com.

Through a search, I found version 6.64 “Online ROM Flash Component for Windows (x64) – Smart Array P212, P410, P410i, P411, P711m, P712m, and P812”, and on Smart Array P410 I had the old version 1.66 installed. I note that there were problems on the old firmware version, the file system sometimes started to work slowly and the server was hanging, both on the Ubuntu Server and on the Windows Server.

I downloaded the file cp027485.exe, which I need to run on the server with Windows (x64), after starting, wait about 5 minutes until the firmware file is written to Smart Array P410, after successful recording, close the window and restart the server.

After rebooting, Smart Array P410 successfully launched with version 6.64.
