Update BIOS P80 on HP ProLiant DL320e Gen8 v2

I will give an example of updating the BIOS P80 on the HP ProLiant DL320e Gen8 v2 server.

Update is necessary through iLO4.

First, download the new BIOS version from the official website
https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/home/driverHome?pmasr=0&sp4ts.oid=5379529

I also saved it for you in zip format:
https://files.ixnfo.com/Firmware/HPE/BIOS_P80_HP_ProLiant_DL320e_Gen8_v2/cp036503.zip

After downloading the archive with the firmware, from the archive in my case only a file was needed, in my case, it was CPQP8013.4B5.

And so, in order to update the BIOS firmware on ProLiant DL320e Gen8 v2, open iLO in the browser, enter the login and password, usually they are written on a sticker on the front panel of the server.
On the iLO page, select “Administration” in the menu, at the bottom of the page, next to “File:”, indicate the downloaded file (in my case it was CPQP8013.4B5) and click “Upload” to start the update process.
During the update process, you cannot turn off the power of the server when the process is completed, you can restart the server so that the new BIOS starts.

Is done.
