For example, update the firmware on the IP camera Dahua IPC-HFW4300S-V2.
To update, we need to open the web interface of the camera.
Let me remind you that the default IP address of the camera is 192.168.1.108, and the login and password is “admin”.
In the web interface, we will look at the version of the installed firmware. To do this, select the “Settings” tab, on the left “Information” menu – “Version”, I have displayed:
Software Version 2.420.0000.0.R, build : 2014-04-19
WEB Version 3.2.4.184667
ONVIF Version 2.4.1
In the web interface of the device, open the “Settings” tab, on the left in the “System” menu – “Upgrate”.
Press the “Browse… ” button, select the new firmware file unpacked from the archive and press the “Update” button to start the update process, which will last about 5 minutes, during this period you can’t turn off the device power off.
You can search or request a new firmware on the official website www.dahuasecurity.com.
I found and updated the following:
https://files.ixnfo.com/Firmware/Dahua/IPC-HFW4300S-V2/DH_IPC-HX5(4)XXX-Adreia_Eng_P_Stream3_V2.420.0009.0.R.20160510/DH_IPC-HX5(4)XXX-Adreia_Eng_P_Stream3_V2.420.0009.0.R.20160510.bin
After updating to this firmware, I displayed:
Software Version 2.420.0009.0.R, build : 2016-05-10
WEB Version 3.2.1.305503
ONVIF Version 2.4.1
