How I Survived Covid 19

08/08/2024 I noticed the first symptoms when I woke up.

Day 1. Woke up with a lump in my throat, immediately found lozenges with an antiseptic effect and relief, measured my temperature – 38.5, drank a lot of water, found vitamin C 500. At night I drank powder to relieve symptoms.

Day 2. I hardly slept at night, my whole body was twisting, I was turning from one side to the other, temperature 38.5, the powder didn’t help much. The temperature didn’t exceed 38.5, so I didn’t bring it down on the second day. The first two days my pulse was elevated, at rest about 100, with my norm about 70. I bought a test at the drugstore.

Day 3. Temperature 37.9-38.2, throat started to hurt, before that it was just hoarse. Headache, drank powder to relieve symptoms and headache went away abruptly, temperature also dropped abruptly to 37+, pulse almost returned to normal, was slightly elevated.

Day 4. Temperature 37, did not drink any more powders, sore throat remained. All 4 days there was very strong fatigue, diarrhea, dizziness, “skidding on turns”, if you squat once, it feels like you did 50 squats.

Day 5. The sore throat went away, a cough appeared. I completely lost my sense of smell, no matter what I tried to smell, I didn’t feel anything, there was a taste. There was no runny nose, but my nose didn’t breathe cleanly either, once a day before going to bed I dripped Otrivin 0.1% to breathe well through my nose, otherwise one nostril wouldn’t breathe, then the other, and so on constantly, I didn’t pay attention to it during the day.

Day 6. Temperature 36.3, cough became tolerably worse, taste disappeared almost completely, only salt was felt well, taste was felt probably by 10%.

Day 7. A slight runny nose appeared, my throat was sore, I had coughing fits, if I coughed once, I had to cough 10 more times, after that I stopped. Before going to bed, I took one Respix tablet and lay on a high pillow to fall asleep, because if I lay horizontally, the cough got worse.

Day 12. The symptoms slowly went away, there was almost no runny nose, I began to smell weakly, every day there was a dry cough periodically and rarely. I did not notice any breathing problems, the oximeter showed 96-98.

Day 14. Taste is almost restored, the sense of smell has recovered weaker.

A month later, my sense of smell returned, my temperature could jump, sometimes 36.9, sometimes 37, sometimes 36.6 after half an hour, my cough slowly disappeared every day. The cough was always dry.

After a month and a half, the cough was completely gone, the temperature could sometimes jump, sometimes 37, sometimes 36.6, sometimes 36.8, I felt it on my hot lips, it did not cause discomfort, the temperature jumps became less and less frequent.
