For example, I will update the firmware DHI-NVR4416-4KS2
By default, the IP address of the first network interface is 192.168.1.108, the second is 192.168.2.108, the login is admin, the password is specified by the user during initial setup.
First, let’s see the firmware version in NVR, open the web interface, select “Management” – “System Maintenance” on the desktop, I got the version V4.000.0000001.5.
Let’s see if there is a newer version on the official website:
https://www.dahuasecurity.com/support/downloadCenter/firmware?child=171&page=1&us
Where the Software version is: press “Manual check”, I displayed: “This is the latest version”, although the official website had a newer version – DH_NVR4XXX-4KS2_MultiLang_V4.001.0000000.1.R.200319 (08/04/2020), I also saved it for you here:
https://files.ixnfo.com/Firmware/Dahua/DHI-NVR4416-4KS2/DH_NVR4XXX-4KS2_MultiLang_V4.001.0000000.1.R.200319.zip
To start the update process in front of “Select file” I clicked “Open” and selected the file, in my case it was DH_NVR4XXX-4KS2_MultiLang_V4.001.0000000.1.R.200319.bin, then clicked update.
When the update process is in progress, it is absolutely impossible to turn off the power supply, otherwise the device may then not start.
