For example, I will update the iLO 5 firmware on the HPE ProLiant DL380 Gen10 server.
At the time of this writing, I found version 2.33 on the official website of iLO 5 (marked Critical), and on the server I had version 2.14 installed.

And so, to update iLO 5, open the iLO web interface in the browser, enter the login and password (usually they are written on a sticker on the front panel of the server), on the left in the menu, open the “Firmware & OS Software” tab, select “Update Firmware”, click the “Browse …” button and point to the firmware file, click “Flash” and wait for the update process to complete.
After a successful update, iLO will automatically restart, the server will not be affected, it will work continuously.
