I will give an example of cable diagnostics on Foxgate switches, for the test I will take the Foxgate S6224-S4 switch.
For example, let’s perform a cable test on port 10:
virtual-cable-test interface ethernet 1/10
Or several ports at once:
virtual-cable-test interface ethernet 1/10-11
An example of the result of the command:
S6224-S4(R5)#virtual-cable-test interface ethernet 1/10-11
