Update BIOS P70 on HP ProLiant DL380p Gen8

On the test, I will perform the BIOS update P70 on the HP ProLiant DL380p Gen8 server.
I will perform the update through iLO4.
At the time of this writing, the server was BIOS version 03/01/2013, and from the official site I downloaded 24/05/2019.

First of all, download the new BIOS version from the official site (in the search you can add “P70” or select the type “BIOS” on the left)
https://support.hpe.com/hpesc/public/home/driverHome?sp4ts.oid=519496

I downloaded this version (download available without registration):

(2019.05.24) https://support.hpe.com/hpsc/swd/public/detail?swItemId=MTX_1bdec773834044b6825d2ff850

Also I saved old version (2018.05.21(A)) for you in zip format:
https://files.ixnfo.com/Firmware/HPE/BIOS_P70_HP_ProLiant_DL380p_Gen8/SP99341.zip

After downloading the archive with the firmware, in my case, only the CPQP7013.6B8 file was needed from the archive.

That is, in order to update the BIOS firmware on the ProLiant DL380p Gen8, open iLO in the browser, enter the login and password, usually they are written on a sticker on the front panel of the server.
On the iLO page, select “Administration” in the menu, at the bottom of the page, next to “File:”, indicate the downloaded file (in my case it was CPQP7013.6B8) and click “Upload” to start the update process.
During the update process, you cannot turn off the power of the server when the process is completed, you can restart the server so that the new BIOS starts.

Is done.
